Pineapple Tarts for Sale!

What do...

mandarin oranges,

red packets

and...

the lion dance

have in common?

They become increasingly familiar sights as one lunar year draws to a close and another dawns upon us. The fresh aroma of mandarin oranges, the glee at receiving red packets and the noise and light of the lion dance are all symbolic of our Chinese new year! No matter how old I grow to be, these will always hold a special place in my heart.

But wait!

What has the all that gotta do with...

In line with our rowdy, bustling, boisterous Chinese new year spirit, Ms Stephanie Nikki Lim would be holding a pineapple tart fundraising drive for Gentle Paws. For every tin of handmade pineapple tarts that goes for $12, $2 would be contributed to the furkids.

We don't know if our furkids can relate better to Christmas, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya or Deepavali. But where there is joy, laughter and good fun in the air, they're sure to want to be a part of it. Thinking of getting your CNY goodies already? Why not try Stephanie's pineapple tarts and lend a hand to the dogs at Gentle Paws as well?

If you are interested, please contact Stephanie at 90087841. She would be arranging for collection at the nearest MRT station convenient for buyers.

We hear Steph already has an ardent pool of supporters. We're grateful that she has offered to increase the quantity of pineapple tarts to be baked specially for the furkiddies at GPF. For those always in search of that perfect pineapple tart, do give Stephanie's baking skills a shot! When you sink your teeth into this shiok but sinful CNY goody, you no longer have to feel guilty because hey, you can say that every bite goes toward the furkiddies at Gentle Paws!
